When you call, send a WhatsApp message, email us or submit a form on our website, we collect your name, phone number, the address where the repair is needed, and any other details you choose to share. We also collect the brand, type and fault of your washing machine, along with any photos or videos you send us to help diagnose the problem.

Information created when we serve you

When a technician visits, we record the date of the visit, the work carried out, any parts fitted, the amount charged and the warranty period that applies.

Information collected automatically on our website

When you visit homlixcare.com, we and our service providers may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, approximate location based on IP address, the pages you viewed, how long you stayed, and the website or advertisement that brought you to us. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies, described in more detail below.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

• Spare parts suppliers, where a part needs to be ordered for your machine

We require our service providers to handle your information only for the purpose we have engaged them for.

Some of these services, including Google and Meta, process data on servers outside India. By using our website and contacting us, you consent to your information being transferred and processed in this way.

How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep service and warranty records for as long as is needed to honour the warranty on parts we have fitted, and for as long as tax and accounting law requires us to retain them.

Enquiries that do not result in a booking are deleted once they are no longer needed. Website analytics data is retained according to the settings of the services described above.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy of it
• Ask us to correct information that is wrong, incomplete or out of date
• Ask us to delete your personal information, except where we are required to keep it for warranty, tax or legal reasons
